Last Wednesday was my big workshop at the new Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Cancer Centre in Camperdown, Sydney, Australia. https://www.mylifehouse.org.au
They have a program called the Living Room where patients and their families can participate in art and craft workshops to take their mind off their treatments and create something inspiring and beautiful. This is such a worthwhile program and I am happy to have been able to contribute.
We made resin pendants with objects that they either brought with them or from Australian gum nuts, leaves and bark that I took along for them. Then we made a wire wrapped basket for an agate gemstone.
Here is a picture of the living room. For copyright and privacy reasons I can’t include the participants, but here is the set up and I will post some of the work produced during the workshop soon.
